This was the sunset last night and as I have had little time to find something to put up I went ahead and just used this as I didn't want to dig through my others. Colorado has had amazing sunsets for pretty much the past week and a half or so so I have a lot of pictures from them. I loved this shot as I thought the branches added some nice atmosphere to the photo as well as very simply, well, I'm a sucker for reflections. I was trying to get to the other side of the lake as the sky was lighting up further out east (this is west) but well doing so the horizon started to light up like this so I stopped and went for this instead. Always something amazing about being by the water watching a day end so spectacularly, as the cooler air of the night begins to take over and the warmth of the sun seeps out of the clouds. I hope I helped to convey that mood through this, if even a little bit.
I hope the branches are not too intrusive, and I'm not sure of that myself but nonetheless I hope you like this shot as well! Feel free to tell me what I did right or wrong with it!
